ICMR के नए महानिदेशक बने डॉ. राजीव बहल।
Dr राजीव बहल को तीन साल की अवधि के लिए भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान अनुसंधान परिषद (ICMR) का महानिदेशक नियुक्त किया गया है। इसके साथ उन्हें स्वास्थ्य अनुसंधान विभाग का सचिव भी बनाया गया है। बहल वर्तमान में जिनेवा में विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन (WHO) में मातृ, नवजात शिशु पर शोध प्रमुख एवं किशोर स्वास्थ्य सह-नवजात इकाई के प्रमुख हैं।कार्मिक एवं प्रशिक्षण विभाग द्वारा जारी एक आदेश में कहा गया है कि मंत्रिमंडल की नियुक्ति समिति ने डॉ. राजीव बहल को आईसीएमआर के महानिदेशक-सह-स्वास्थ्य अनुसंधान विभाग के सचिव के पद पर तीन साल की अवधि के लिए पदभार ग्रहण करने की तारीख से नियुक्ति को मंजूरी दे दी है।
बहल से पूर्व डॉ. बलराम भार्गव का आईसीएमआर के महानिदेशक और स्वास्थ्य अनुसंधान विभाग के सचिव के रूप में विस्तारित कार्यकाल जुलाई में समाप्त हो गया। भार्गव को इस पद पर 16 अप्रैल 2018 को चार साल के लिए नियुक्त किया गया था।

संजय कुमार के बारे में
भारतीय रेलवे सिग्नल इंजीनियर सेवा के अधिकारी कुमार के पास रेलवे के क्षेत्र में काम करने का करीब 30 साल का अनुभव है। वे इंडियन रेलवे सर्विस ऑफ सिग्नल इंजीनियर्स (IRSSE) के अधिकारी हैं।
उन्होंने कहा कि वह अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर व्यापार करने पर ध्यान केंद्रित करना चाहते हैं, जिसमें निर्यात सेवाएं और अंतरराष्ट्रीय बोलियों और अनुबंधों में भाग लेना शामिल है।
रेलटेल के लिए अपने भविष्य के लक्ष्यों के बारे में, कुमार ने कहा कि वे अपनी सेवाओं और परियोजनाओं की पेशकश का विस्तार करने के लिए चल रहे विकास, विविधीकरण और आधुनिकीकरण की गति को बनाए रखेंगे।

Dr. Rajiv Bahl named as Director General of ICMR
Dr Rajiv Bahl has been appointed as the new director general of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR)-cum-secretary of the department of health Research for a period of three years. Bahl currently heads the research on maternal, newborn child and adolescent health cum-newborn unit on maternal, Department of Maternal Newborn Child and Adolescent Health and Ageing, at the World Health Organisation (WHO) in Geneva.
His predecessor, Dr Balram Bhargava’s extended tenure as director general of ICMR and secretary of the Department of Health Research ended in July. Appointment of Sanjai Kumar as new Chairman & MD of Railtel
